We help wherever skin is needed.

IMAGE felt there was a need that could be filled by plastic surgeons nationwide willing to donate their time, expertise, and kindness to help the disadvantaged and victims in need of skin.

Founded in 2011, the Care for Skin Foundation, Inc. is an organization to support people without financial means, who suffered loss of skin due to accidents, tumors, burns, scars and genetic abnormalities, to restore their normal facial and body appearance with plastic and reconstructive ecniques. The Foundation helps wherever skinis needed in the form of skin transplantation, scar corrections, contraction releases and other plasticsurgical techniques.

The Foundation's missions revolve around the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery for patientswho do not have the financial meas to pay for these types of services, mainly in third world countries. Sometimes a simple surgery can release scar tissue, which imhabits young children from performing the simplest tasks. Someitmes larger surgeries are needed to replace skin with skin transplantations after substantial burns.

Additionally, Care for Skin Foundation will also financially support other organizations, such as Resurge and Smile Train which facilitate trips for selected surgeons to travel to the countries chosen for assistance.

IMAGE Skincare supports the donation of products, financial aid for surgical procedures, as well as time, energy, and manpower of many staff members of the IMAGE Skincare team.

IMAGE Skincare is dedicated to offering safe products without the use of chemical preservatives like parabens. The use of parabens as preservatives in cosmetics is controversial. There are clinical studies suggesting that parabens have potential health risks, including estrogen activity. IMAGE Skincare is one of the first skin care companies to remove parabens from its entire product line.
